Music Director, Chelmsford Community Band
Lucinda Ellert holds multiple graduate degrees from New England Conservatory of Music and has a long history of contributing to live music performance in the region, from two decades as the leader of the 1920s dance band Happy Feet, to Orchestra Outreach Project (COOP), a new regional community orchestra based in Chelmsford. She has directed school bands, taught instrumental lessons, and guest conducted with Salem State College band and with the Salem Philharmonic Orchestra.
Currently residing in Winchendon with her husband Dan, Lucinda is also a local private instrument teacher and the music director at the Tewksbury Congregational Church. Her business, Scoreworks, engraves scores for composers. For Ellert, the Chelmsford Community Concert Band is a great opportunity to move forward with live community music performance at the head of a large, powerful ensemble.

In addition to conducting and playing in the percussion section, he composes and arranges music for concert band.
